"The first week I started the regime the change was amazing. My energy returned, my skin glowed, the aches and pains and heat (inflammation) in my joints went away (almost all), the gastric reflux stopped. People commented on the change in me. I was amazed at how different and positive I felt. So thank you so much." Susie, Plymouth

"I can't speak highly enough of that man, he changed my life". Doreen, Worcester

Every child can develop the ultimate brain.

They have the genes; we have the know-how. Now all we need is the common sense to put the two together.

The problem

• An alarming rise in neurological and behavioural problems in children and teenagers including:
• Autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, aggression, violence, lack of motivation, truancy and so on. In fact all that is wrong with our young society today.
• Treatment for these conditions is by interventions which have never been tested on children and which come with a litany of side effects some of which far worse than the original condition.
• Emphasis is on diagnosis of a condition, an illness or a disease for which we historically formulate a medical treatment, mostly drugs. This ignores the fact that the body is a comprehensive unit and should always be treated as such. Today’s advanced thinking concentrates on recognising and eliminating the cause and supporting the body naturally to return to homeostasis or balance but it is not being adopted.
• There is no substitute for medical intervention in an emergency to save life or limb but these measures are detrimental in chronic cases where repair and healing is paramount.
• The cost of these conditions is colossal in terms of manpower, treatment and resources especially when we take into account the cost of alleviating the inevitable side effects of the therapies, the cost to parents, teachers, the police and everyone who becomes a part of dealing with the problem. But most of all is the human cost to society as a whole.

The Solution

• Most if not all of these conditions are preventable.
• Supply the body with what it needs and uses in everyday physiology and is lacking from the diet - drugs do not form a part of body chemistry and are alien to the body’s biochemistry).
• Supply the essential nutrients needed to ensure all enzymes function at their peak for optimum growth of the brain.
• The earlier the intervention the better the outcome.
• At pre conception if possible otherwise immediately pregnancy is confirmed.
• Folic acid is already recognised in the prevention of neural tube defects and dispensed to pregnant mothers.
• Choline is already recognised as a major player in neuron connections and added to baby milk formulas by the major suppliers but it is ineffective at the doses given.
• Give water regularly as nerves do not function properly without sufficient water.
• Everything is already in place to care for mother and baby so there is no cost involved other than basic education and the minimal cost of the supplements.
• Start with babies and extend gradually to pre-teens and teens.
• Savings are enormous for minimal outlay.

Basic physiology of living and life:

• Diet, lifestyle and environment control the outcome of the genes.
• Genes create proteins by using enzymes which are proteins themselves.
• Genes create enzymes which create genes – growth and repair; the basis of life.
• Diet, lifestyle and environment control the outcome of the genes.
• Genes control enzymes which control brain chemicals which control emotions and behaviour.
• Enzymes need tools to work.
• Vitamins and minerals are the basic tools for enzymes to work.
• Vitamins and minerals are obtained from our diet.
• Our soil is critically depleted in these essential tools making our food seriously deficient in providing the necessary amount needed to power all our enzymes.
• Insufficiency in vitamins and minerals leads to some enzymes and genes being turned off resulting in illness and disease.
• Drugs work mainly on blocking enzymes which explains why all drugs have side effects for which we require other drugs.

Facts about the brain:

• The brain is the master computer housing every single bit of information and experience we come into contact with consciously, subconsciously and unconsciously.
• It is at work twenty four hours a day and monitors every process in the body including thoughts and emotions.
• At conception there are no brain cells. At birth we possess 1 trillion brain cells and our skull is 35cm in circumference. In the next 2.5 years the skull grows another 15cm and a further 5cm over the next 5 years.
• The brain is 60% fat and 100% of that fat is Omega 3 unsaturated fatty acids.
• The brain grows by use at any age.
• The first six years of life are the foundation for learning but the brain continues to develop well into our twenties.
• The world has looked at brain growth and development as if it were a predestined and unchangeable fact, instead basic growth and development is a dynamic and changing process. It is a process that can be stopped, slowed or speeded up.
• The first three years of life are the most important for neuronal connections.
• The fewer connections that are made, the stronger the likelihood of autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia and all other childhood brain disorders.
• Nerves talk to each other by secreting specific chemicals called neurotransmitters. This message is transmitted by electricity just like a telephone.
• Neurons transmit signals to other neurons or non-neuronal cells such as skeletal muscle, heart muscle, glands etc.
